Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 12, 2020 Liberty Star Minerals (the Company) submitted applications to acquire 5 additional Mineral Exploration Permits @ $500 each for a total of $2,500. The land is contiguous with the Hay Mountain Project and equals 2,369.15 acres for an increased total of 14,917.15 acres / 23.31 sq. miles at Hay Mountain. The applications, if approved by the State of Arizona in their entirety, represent a 19% increase in the amount of land the Company includes as part of the Hay Mountain Project.

Comments CEO, Brett Gross, “The addition of these State lands to the Company’s holdings complements similar undertakings in October 2019 (see Update 910 dated October 21, 2019). In 2019 we moved to secure surface access to support future development and operations. With the addition of these lands, the Company secures three additional access routes from public roadways. While over the past twenty-two months we have enjoyed increasingly good, collaborative and cooperative relations with the private property owners contiguous to the Hay Mountain project with no interruptions to project access, securing multiple alternative routes places us in a much more secure and well defined position for the future.”
