Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 29, 2020, Adial Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), received notice of exercise of previously issued warrants to purchase a total of 225,000 shares (the “Shares”) of the Company’s common stock, par value $0.001, for aggregate proceeds of $450,000. The funds were subsequently received and the Shares were issued effective the same date.
