Item 7.01      Regulation FD Disclosure.

The TIAA Real Estate Account (the “Account” or the “Registrant”) prepares materials (the “Fact Sheet”) for its investors and other interested parties so that such investors and interested parties may receive a summary of key performance and holdings information with respect to the Account.
 
The most recently prepared Fact Sheet, relating to the performance and holdings of the Account through June 30, 2020, is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report. The information contained in this Item 7.01, including Exhibit 99.1 furnished herewith, shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that Section, and shall not be incorporated by reference into any registration statement or other document filed pursuant to the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the Exchange Act, except as otherwise stated in such filing.
