Item 8.01 Other Events
On June 18, 2020, Energy and Water Development Corp. (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that the Company has received a Contract Award with a value of USD$14,650,640 from the Iraqi Project and Contracting Office to supply 20 self-sufficient energy supply atmosphere water generation systems to various Iraqi projects.
The full text of the press release issued in connection with this announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
