Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On May 21, 2020, Apollo Investment Corporation (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2020.  The text of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.

Compensatory Agreements of Certain Officers.


On May 20, 2020, Carl Spielvogel announced that he will be retiring from the board of directors of Apollo Investment Corporation (the “Company”), effective as of the end of the day on August 11, 2020. Mr. Spielvogel’s decision was not the result of any disagreement with the Company.

In notifying the Board of Directors, Chairman John Hannan noted: “We thank Ambassador Spielvogel for his tenure and contribution of his extensive experience, skills and wisdom on the Company’s Board of Directors. Along with the rest of the Board, I wish Carl the very best in his future endeavors.”
