Item 8.01. Other Events.
On April 17, 2020, F&M Bank Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that, in
response to the public health concerns regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), it has changed the location of its 2020 annual meeting of shareholders from a physical meeting to a virtual meeting held on the internet. In addition, the Company has
changed the date of the annual meeting to May 5, 2020. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
