On January 13, 2020, we sent to The Compliance Department, OTC Market Group, Inc., a request for an extension for the filing of our Annual Report and OTCQB Certification for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2019.
The extension date for filing the Annual Report was January 13, 2020. As disclosed in our Current Report filed on Form 8-K/A on January 10, 2020, our company appointed WWC, P.C. Certified Public Accountants ("WWC"), an independent registered public accounting firm, as our principal independent accountant, effective as of January 6, 2020. Due to the timing of the appointment of WWC, we were not able to meet the extension deadline. Our company is working with WWC to file the Annual Report as soon as practicable.
