EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Amendment No. 1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K of Emergent Capital, Inc., filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 30, 2018, is being filed to correct an inadvertent error contained in Exhibit 99.1 filed therewith. Exhibit 99.1 is being refiled herewith.
