ITEM 7.01. REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE.
On November 16, 2018, LaSalle Hotel Properties (the “Company” or “LaSalle”) issued a press release announcing that leading independent proxy advisory firms, Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. (“ISS”) and Glass, Lewis & Co., LLC (“Glass Lewis”), have recommended that the Company’s shareholders vote “FOR” the merger proposal (Proposal 1) as described in the Company’s definitive proxy statement for the special meeting of its shareholders to be held on November 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Time, in connection with the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of September 6, 2018, as amended on September 18, 2018, and as it may be further amended from time to time (the “Merger Agreement”), by and among Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (“Pebblebrook”), Pebblebrook Hotel, L.P., Ping Merger Sub, LLC, Ping Merger OP, LP, the Company and LaSalle Hotel Operating Partnership, L.P. A copy of such press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.

On November 16, 2018, the Company announced that leading independent proxy advisory firms, ISS and Glass Lewis, have recommended that the Company’s shareholders vote “FOR” the merger proposal (Proposal 1) as described in the Company’s definitive proxy statement for the special meeting of its shareholders to be held on November 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Time, in connection with the Merger Agreement.
