Item 8.01. Other Events.

On November 9, 2018, Theravance Biopharma, Inc. issued a press release and is holding a conference call regarding the approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the New Drug Application (NDA) for YUPELRITM (revefenacin) inhalation solution for the maintenance treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).  A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and a copy of materials that will accompany the call is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report.
