Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 18, 2018, William C. Murphy resigned from the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Veritex Holdings, Inc. and Veritex Bank, effective at the close of business on October 19, 2018. There were no disagreements with management or the Board. Mr. Murphy did not serve on any committees of the Board at the time of his resignation.
