Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 19, 2018, Kingold Jewelry, Inc. (“Kingold” or the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it will hold its 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders at 10:00 AM local time on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the Kingold Jewelry Corporate Center, No. 8 Han Huang Road, Jiang’An District, Wuhan, China. Stockholders as of the record date, close of business on October 22, 2018, will be entitled to vote at the meeting.
The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
