Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 1, 2018, Garrett Motion Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the completion of its tax-free spinoff from Honeywell International Inc. and the beginning of regular-way trading of the Company’s common stock on the New York Stock Exchange. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
