Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 20, 2018, H&R Block, Inc. (the “Company”) began providing a letter to certain of the Company’s shareholders from Robert A. Gerard, the Company’s Chairman, regarding the upcoming advisory vote on the Company’s executive compensation. The letter to the Company’s shareholders is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K, was previously filed by the Company on Schedule 14A, and is available on the Company’s investor relations website at investors.hrblock.com.
