Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

Charles L. Rice, Jr. has resigned his positions as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and director of Entergy New Orleans, LLC (the “Company”), effective August 20, 2018, and will transition to a new role in Entergy Corporation’s Legal Department. The Company is conducting a national search to fill Mr. Rice’s position. Pending the completion of that process, Roderick K. West, the Company’s Group President, Utility Operations, will serve as interim Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. West will not receive any additional compensation for this service.
