Item 7.01                                           Regulation FD Disclosure.

On July 9, 2018, McEwen Mining Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the filing of an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment for its El Gallo Complex in Mexico (“PEA”). The PEA has been filed on SEDAR and is also available on the Company’s website.

The press release also corrects some disclosure from the press release issued by the Company on May 25, 2018 and filed under cover of Form 8-K of the same date.  A copy of the press release regarding the updated PEA is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1. Information linked in the press release can be accessed from the copy of press release available on the Company’s website.
