On April 18, 2018, Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended March 3, 2018. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
The information contained in this Current Report pursuant to this “Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition” is being furnished. On April 18, 2018, the Company issued a press release announcing the Company’s discontinuation of the quarterly cash dividend on its common stock to enable the Company to allocate greater resources toward implementing its three-year strategic plan to drive sales and earnings growth and increase shareholder value. The announcement is included in the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. |
