Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 16, 2018, Group 1 Automotive, Inc., a Delaware corporation, announced the acquisition of a new Toyota market area in western São Paulo, Brazil as well as a major expansion to an existing Honda dealership located in the São Paulo suburb of São Bernardo do Campo. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
