Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 13, 2018, Peoples Bancorp Inc. (“Peoples”) announced that it completed its acquisition of ASB Financial Corp. (“ASB”) as of the close of business on April 13, 2018. Peoples and ASB first announced that they had entered into an agreement to merge in October 2017.
A copy of the press release announcing the event is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
