Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 22, 2018, Merchants Bancorp (the “Company) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K disclosing, among other things, that the Company’s Board of Directors declared that the Company’s annual meeting of shareholders would be held on May 15, 2018.

On April 10, 2018, the Company’s Board of Directors unanimously consented to change the date of the Company’s annual meeting of shareholders, and declared that the annual meeting of shareholders will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
