Item 8.01 Other Events

 

On April 6, 2018, Blue Lion Opportunity Master Fund, L.P. (“BLOMF”), an affiliate of Roaring Blue Lion Capital Management, L.P., filed for voluntary dismissal without prejudice (the “Dismissal”) of its action filed with the Superior Court of King County, Washington (the “Court”) against HomeStreet, Inc. (the “Company”) in the aftermath of the Court’s March 30, 2018 denial of BLOMF’s motion for preliminary injunction.

 

Also on April 6, 2018, in light of the Dismissal, the Court denied as moot BLOMF’s motion to compel the Company to produce certain books and records.
