On March 13, 2018, Amplify Energy Corp. (the Company) issued a press release announcing its signing of a definitive agreement to sell its interest in certain properties located in South Texas to an undisclosed buyer for a contract price of $20 million, subject to closing adjustments. The net proceeds from the sale are expected to be used to reduce outstanding borrowings under the Companys existing revolving credit facility. The sale is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018 with an effective date of January 1, 2018. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
