On February 26, 2018, in connection with the proposed merger (the “Merger”) pursuant to the Agreement and Plan of Merger by and among Snyder’s-Lance, Inc., a North Carolina corporation (the “Company”), Campbell Soup Company, a New Jersey corporation, and Twist Merger Sub, Inc., a North Carolina corporation, which was previously announced on December 18, 2017, the Company issued the attached written communication required to be filed under Rule 14a-12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
