Item 8.01. Other Events
Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio submitted a pre-filing notice today with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio indicating it plans to seek adjustments to charges for its gas distribution business in its 17-county service area in west central Ohio. The request to increase base rates for its gas delivery charges covers the ongoing cost of operating, maintaining and expanding the approximately 5,600-mile pipeline system used to serve its 318,000 customers.
A copy of the Press Release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
