Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On February 15, 2018, Mercer International Inc. (the “Company”) announced by press release the Company’s results for its fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2017. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report.

 

Item 8.01. Other Events.

On February 15, 2018, the Company announced by press release that a quarterly cash dividend of $0.125 per share will be paid on April 4, 2018 to all shareholders of record on March 28, 2018. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report.
