Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On January 31, 2018, Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing plans for its president and chief executive officer, Steven Paul, M.D., to transition during 2018 from his current role to executive science advisor of the Company.  Following such transition, Dr. Paul is expected to continue to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) and as a member of the Company’s Science & Technology Committee. The Board will conduct a retained search, during which time Dr. Paul will remain in his current role until a new chief executive officer has been appointed.

 

A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
