Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On January 22, 2018, Kevin McCoy notified Kimball International, Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to resign as President, National Office Furniture, effective February 2, 2018.  Mr. McCoy’s resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. 
Kourtney Smith, currently President, Kimball Hospitality, will succeed Mr. McCoy as President, National Office Furniture.  Kathy Sigler, currently Vice President, Global Operations for the Company’s Kimball brand, will succeed Ms. Smith as President, Kimball Hospitality.  A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the leadership changes is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
