Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 1, 2017, Micronet Enertec Technologies, Inc., or the Company, filed a Current Report on 8-K disclosing that it received a written notice from the NASDAQ Stock Market LLC, or Nasdaq, indicating that the Company was not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), as the Company’s closing bid price for its common stock was below $1.00 per share for the prior 30 consecutive business days.
On January 8, 2018, the Company received a written notice from Nasdaq that for at least 10 consecutive business days, from December 20, 2017 to January 5, 2018, the closing bid price for the Company’s common stock had been at $1.00 or greater. As a result, Nasdaq notified the Company that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) and that the matter is now closed.
