Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

As previously disclosed on August 31, 2017, Robert E. Veillette, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, notified Nordson Corporation (the “Company”) of his intention to retire effective December 2017. Mr. Veillette has retired effective December 31, 2017.

A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
