Item 5.02.     Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On December 11, 2017, John M. Silseth provided First Business Financial Services, Inc. (the “Company”) with notice of his intention to retire from the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) effective May 23, 2018. Mr. Silseth has served on the Board since 2006. Mr. Silseth’s intention to retire is solely for personal reasons and time considerations and did not involve any disagreement with the Company, the Company’s management or the Board. Mr. Silseth will continue to serve as a member of the First Business Bank Milwaukee Region Advisory Board following his retirement from the Board.
