Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

 

On December 5, 2017, the board of directors (the “Board”) of Ashford Inc. (NYSE American: AINC) (the “Company”) approved a stock repurchase program (the “Repurchase Program”) pursuant to which the Board granted a repurchase authorization to acquire shares of the Company’s common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the “Common Stock”) having an aggregate value of up to $20 million.  The Company believes that it is prudent capital management to have the ability to use the Repurchase Program, subject to market conditions, but does not currently have any plans to purchase Common Stock pursuant to the Repurchase Program.
