Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Michael J. Blodnick currently serves as director of Glacier Bank, a financial institution in Montana (Glacier Bank), and is the Montana member director and vice chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines board of directors (Des Moines Bank Board). Effective December 31, 2017, Mr. Blodnick will retire from his service as a director of Glacier Bank, and as a result will also resign from the Des Moines Bank Board on December 31, 2017.  Pursuant to applicable laws and regulations, the Des Moines Bank Board directorship vacancy (with a term expiring on December 31, 2019) created by Mr. Blodnick’s resignation is to be filled by the Des Moines Bank Board.
