Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 6, 2017, Independent Bank Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the closing of a common stock offering by it and certain selling shareholders, including the full exercise of the underwriters’ options to purchase additional shares from the Company and certain of the selling shareholders. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
