Item 5.02.

Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 16, 2017, Empire Resorts, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that, effective December 4, 2017, Laurette Pitts resigned from her position as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. There were no disagreements between the Company and Ms. Pitts on any matters relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
