Item 7.01  Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

On October 31, 2017, PDC Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing an agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Justice (“DOJ”) and the State of Colorado (“State”) to improve air emission control systems on certain of its oil storage tanks in the Denver-Julesburg Basin.  Upon court approval, the agreement will fully resolve the federal court lawsuit filed by the DOJ and State against the Company.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
