Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On October 16, 2017, Golden Queen Mining Co. Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its quarterly results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2017. A copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is hereby incorporated by reference herein.

On October 16, 2017 the Company issued a press release entitled “Golden Queen Announces Preliminary Operating Results for the Third Quarter of 2017”. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
