Item 8.01. Other Events

 

On October 3, 2017, Capitol Investment Corp. IV (the “Company”) announced that holders of the Company’s units will be able to separately trade the Class A ordinary shares and warrants included in such units commencing on or about October 6, 2017. The Class A ordinary shares and warrants will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols CIC and CIC WS, respectively. Units not separated will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol CIC.U. A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the foregoing is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
