Information contained herein relating to any individual registrant is furnished by such registrant on its own behalf. Item 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE.
The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, the Speaker of the South Carolina House of Representatives, and the Chair and Vice-Chair of the South Carolina House Utility Ratepayer Protection Committee have requested the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to conduct a criminal investigation of the handling of the V.C. Summer Nuclear Project by SCANA Corporation (SCANA) and South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G), SCANA’s primary subsidiary. SCANA and SCE&G intend to fully cooperate with any potential government investigation of the project. If an investigation is commenced by SLED, no assurance can be given as to the timing or outcome of this matter.
