Item 2.02

On September 14, 2017 Butler National Corporation issued a press release announcing its financial results for the first quarter for the period ending July 31, 2017.  Butler National Corporation will have a conference call on September 19, 2017 to discuss the results. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
