(b) On September 5, 2017, Ingersoll-Rand plc (the “Company”) announced that Mr. Didier Teirlinck, the Company’s Executive Vice President, Climate Segment, would be retiring in mid-2018 and would assume an interim role with the Company effective immediately until his retirement. The announcement was included in a press release issued by the Company on September 5, 2017. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference.
