GLOBAL NET LEASE ANNOUNCES RELEASE DATE

FOR SECOND QUARTER 2017 RESULTS

NEW YORK – July 25, 2017 – Global Net Lease, Inc. (NYSE: GNL) ("GNL" or the "Company") announced today it will file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and release its financial results for the second quarter 2017 on Monday, August 7, 2017 after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Company will host a conference call and audio webcast on the same day, beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET, to discuss the second quarter results and provide commentary on business performance. The call will be conducted by GNL’s management team and a question and answer session with analysts and investors will follow the prepared remarks.
