Item 8.01 Other Events.
    
On July 17, 2017, Golden Grain Energy, LLC approved moving forward with an approximately 30 million gallon per year expansion of its facility located in Mason City, Iowa. This expansion is expected to increase total plant capacity to 150 million gallons of ethanol per year. The expansion is anticipated to cost approximately $31.5 million and is expected to be completed during the company's third fiscal quarter of 2019.
