On July 18, 2017, Sterling Bancorp (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Kroll Bond Rating Agency, a full-service rating agency, has initiated coverage on the Company and its subsidiary, Sterling National Bank. The press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
