Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 10, 2017, Gary Musil, a director of Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. (the “Company”), gave written notice to the Company that he would resign from the Company’s Board of Directors and resign as Secretary of the Company, both resignations effective as of July 21, 2017. Mr. Musil’s decision to resign is solely for personal reasons and time considerations and did not involve any disagreement with the Company, the Company’s management or the Board of Directors. A copy of a press release regarding this resignation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
