ITEM 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) Pentair plc (the “Company”) previously announced its intention to separate the Company into two independent, publicly traded companies (the “Separation”). On June 26, 2017, Karen L. Keegans, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of the Company, informed the Company that she does not intend to continue to serve as an officer of the Company after completion of the Separation.
