COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN ASSETS OF A GLOBAL 2000
TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES PROVIDER
TAMPA, FL June 1, 2017 - Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated (SYKES or the Company) (NASDAQ: SYKE), a global business process outsourcing (BPO) leader in providing comprehensive inbound customer engagement services to Global 2000 companies, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of certain assets of the telecommunications services provider.
Since the announcement of the transaction, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from clients and employees, who will become part of the greater SYKES family. We believe this transaction will create broader opportunities for the incoming employees, provide access to a world-class business platform for the incoming clients and drive long-term value creation for our shareholders, said Chuck Sykes, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated.
