Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

On May 22, 2017, Xenetic Biosciences, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release relating to a program update from partner Shire’s Phase 1/2 clinical study evaluating SHP656, which utilizes the Company’s PolyXen platform technology. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
