Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On May 11, 2017, in light of changes in the scope of Bing-Fai Wong’s responsibilities and those of certain other executives of Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) due to the previously announced reorganization of the Company’s management team, the Company’s Board of Directors has determined that Mr. Wong is no longer an executive officer subject to Section 16.
