Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 17, 2017, Coda Octopus Group, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a registration statement on Form 10 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. By operation of law, that registration statement went automatically effective on April 18, 2017. As a result, the Company is now subject to the reporting requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
