On April 18, 2017, Autoliv, Inc. (the “Company”) announced the completion of its joint venture with Volvo Cars, creating a new company called “Zenuity” that will develop the next generation of autonomous driving and driver assistance programs. As previously announced, the Company entered into a definitive agreement for the joint venture with Volvo Cars in January 2017. A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the completion of the joint venture and start of operations of Zenuity is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
